강인범 Inbum Kang
고려대학교 국어국문학과 박사과정을 수료했고, 동 대학교 한국어문화교육센터 연구강의 전임강사로 재직하면서 한국어플래그십 현지 프로그램을 책임지고 있다. 한국 고전문학 외에 한국어 교육에서 문학 자료 활용 방안과 문화 교육 방안에 대해 연구하고 있다.
Inbum Kang is an ABD in Korean Literature at Korea University and is now a fulltime instructor at the Korean Language and Culture Center of Korea University. His research interest is in Korean traditional literature, use of literary materials for Korean language education, and pedagogy of Korean culture.
공동관 Dong-Kwan Kong
하와이대학교에서 한국언어학박사 학위를 취득했고, 현재 동 대학교 동아시아 어문학과 조교수로 재직하며 한국어플래그십 석사과정을 책임지고 있다. 제2언어 습득학, 외국어로서의 한국어 평가, 한국어 교수법 등의 연구 활동을 주로 하고 있다.
Dong-Kwan Kong has a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He is assistant professor of Korean language and linguistics in the UHM Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, functioning as coordinator of the Korean language Flagship graduate program. His research interest is in second language acquisition, assessments of Korean as a foreign language, and Korean language pedagogy.
김은호 Eunho Kim
하와이대학교에서 한국언어학박사 학위를 취득했다. 동 대학교 동아시아 어문학과 강사를 거쳐 한국어플래그십 학부과정을 담당하고 있다. 주요 연구 분야는 대화/담화분석을 이용한제2언어로서의 한국어 습득이며 한국어 문법 교육 및 언어평가도 관심 분야이다.
Eunho Kim has a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is a research professor in the research institute of Language and Information at the Korea University. Her research interest is in acquisition of Korean as a second language through discourse/conversational analysis, Korean grammar instruction, and language proficiency assessment.
박종우 Jong Woo Park
고려대학교에서 노문학 박사과정을 수료했고, 2008-2012년까지 동 대학교 한국어문화교육센터에서 한국어플래그십 석사과정을 담당했으며, 현재 고려대학교 한국어문화교육센터 정규 과정 및 대학원에서 한국어 강의를 담당하고 있다.
Jongwoo Park is an ABD in Russian literature at Korea University and is a fulltime instructor at the Korean Language and Culture Center of Korea University. He functions as overseas coordinator of the Korean Language Flagship Center of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
손다정 Da-jung Son
고려대학교 국어국문학과에서 한국어문화교육 전공 박사과정을 수료했고 동 대학교 한국어문화교육센터에서 강사로 재직했으며, 현재 서울여자대학교 국어국문학과 초빙강의 교수로 학생들을 가르치고 있다. 문법, 표현, 문화 교육 등을 중심으로 연구 활동을 하고 있다.
Da-jung Son is an ABD in teaching Korean language and culture at Korea University. She taught Flagship students at the Korean Language and Culture Center of Korea University. At present, she is a visiting faculty at the Department of Korean language and literature at Seoul Women’s University. The areas of her research interest include grammar and usage instruction and culture education.
손현주 Hyeonju Son
하와이대학교에서 정치학박사 학위를 취득했고 한국어플래그십센터에서 다년간 한국학 분야의 강의 및 교재 개발 등에 관여했다. 현재 한국의 미래, 시나리오, 미래학 방법론을 비판적 관점에서 연구하고 있다.
Hyeonju Son has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He taught Korean studies to graduate students at the Korean Language Flagship Center for many years. His research areas include future scenario of Korea and critical approach to the methodology of Korean futurology.
손호민 Ho-min Sohn
하와이대학교에서 언어학박사 학위를 취득했고, 현재 동 대학교 동아시아어문학과 교수겸 한국어플래그십센터 소장으로 재직 중이다. 저서로는 The Korean Language(Cambridge 대학 출판), Korean(영국 Routledge 출판), Linguistic expeditions(한신 출판), Woleaian Reference Grammar(하와이대학 출판), A Ulithian Grammar(호주 국립대학 출판) 등이 있다.
Ho-min Sohn has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. He is professor of Korean linguistics and director of the Korean Language Flagship Center at the UHM. His authored books include The Korean Language (Cambridge University Press), Korean (Routledge in London), Linguistic Expeditions (Hanshin), Woleaian Reference Grammar (University of Hawai’i Press), and A Ulithian Grammar (Australian National University Press).
오승연 Oh, Seung Yeun
고려대학교 영어영문학과에서 박사학위를 취득했고, SBS 공채 8기 아나운서 입사 후, SBS, KBS, MBC에서 국제시사 대담 및 토론 프로그램을 진행해 왔으며 현재 동 대학교 언어정보연구소 연구교수, 미디어스쿨과 고려대학교 박물관 문화예술 최고위과정 주임교수를 맡고 있다.
Seung Yeun Oh has a Ph.D. in English linguistics and literature from Korea University. She has been in charge of the discussion programs on current global issues and events with SBS, KBS, and MBC. At present, she is a research faculty at the KU Research Institute of Language Information and is a chief faculty for the culture and arts section at the KU Museum.
윤연희 Yeonhee Yoon
하와이대학교에서 한국언어학 박사 학위를 취득했고, 현재 University of Notre Dame 동아시아 언어문화학과 한국어 프로그램 부교수 겸 코디네이터로 재직하면서 한국어와 한국문화를 가르치고 있다.
Yeonhee Yoon is a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is teaching Korean language and culture as associate professor of Korean and Korean program coordinator at the University of Notre Dame.
이선우 Sunwoo Lee

장수미 Sumi Chang
하와이대학교에서 한국언어학 박사과정을 수료했고, 현재 동 대학교 동아시아 어문학과 전임강사로 재직하면서 한국어플래그십 학부과정 과목을 지도하고 있다. 한국어 존대어의 문장 어미 위주의 사회언어학과 교수법에 관한 연구를 주로 하고 있으며 외국어로서의 한국어를 지도하는 데 필요한 미디어 자료를 개발하고 있다.
Sumi Chang has a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM). She is a full-time instructor in Korean in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, teaching and advising undergraduate Flagship students. Her research activities include sociolinguistic investigation into Korean honorific sentence endings and pedagogical studies in regard to Korean as a foreign language, including media-related instructional materials development.
전상이 Sang Yee Cheon
하와이대학교에서 언어학박사 학위를 취득했고, 동 대학교 동아시아 어문학과 조교수로 재직하면서 한국어플래그십 학부과정을 책임지고 있다. 음성/음운 습득 연구 이외에 한국어 교육에서 문화를 가르칠 때 영화나 광고 등 미디어 자료의 역할에 관한 연구를 주로 하고 있다.
Sang Yee Cheon has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. She is assistant professor of Korean language and linguistics and Flagship undergraduate coordinator at the UHM. Her research interests include acquisition of phonetics/phonology and roles of media materials such as movies and advertisements in Korean language and culture education.

최범용 Bumyong Choi
하와이대학교에서 한국언어학 박사 학위를 취득했고, 현재 Emory University에서 한국어 전임강사로 재직하며 한국어 프로그램을 책임지고 있다. 인지언어학과 말뭉치언어학을 토대로 한 한국어 문법과 의미론에 대한 연구와 한국어 교육에 대한 적용 방안에 대한 연구를 주로 하고 있다.
Bumyong Choi has a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. At present, he is a full-time instructor and director of the Korean language program at Emory University. His primary research areas is Korean grammar and semantics based on cognitive linguistics and corpus linguistics and pedagogical applications of his research results.
